This is a permanent position with Infosys Limited About the role : The geospatial SME/Developer provides technical development solutions support, data management analytics and visualization support to our Integrated Energy customer and will work closely with the various digital portfolio teams to provide specialist expertise and data management, analytics, visualization solutions across a wide range of business domains including Operations, Projects, Crisis, Renewables, Refining and Retail. The Geospatial SME/Developer is a technical role for those who have a passion for data and a zeal to unlock and use data and analytics to inform better business decisions. Technical Ability : - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data. - Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks). - Import/export of data between ArcGIS and other applications, including using FME and related tools. Developing tools for data import/export of geospatial data where needed, being cognizant of the tools that already exist. - Some familiarity with data-related technologies/languages (e.g. FME, Python, R, ElasticSearch, etc.). - Running simple analysis tools, creating basic models to automate simple workflows moving toward advanced models to automate complex geoscience workflows, basic scripting languages for editing attributes, writing short scripts for data manipulation and data QC. - Actively seeking to apply data science techniques; automation and machine learning, including the use of analytical and visualization tools to translate data and interpreted results into actionable insights and value. - Actively communicating and promoting the purpose and benefits of information and data management and data analytics, engaging and effectively managing stakeholders. - Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable. - Actively seeking to improve data insights, automate and simplify workflows and processes - Creating innovative solutions to improve process, workflow, best practice and service delivery - Challenging conventional thinking, problem solving and innovating - Identifying, piloting and applying new data management techniques to improve data and service delivery - Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications. - Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity. - Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces. - Knowledge and Utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating. - Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc) and strong SQL skills. - Experience with containerization and orchestration. Experience in Azure Repo with knowledge of git and Azure Containers. Key GIS Skills / Technologies : - ReactJS , NodeJs, Javascript, Plotly, Python, FME (Form & Flow) - Esri Web GIS Development includes customizing Experience Builder Widgets, ArcGIS API for Python - ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, SDE, Server), ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online - Cloud hosting and services : Azure - Geospatial data, APIs, and technologies Must Haves : - ArcGIS Pro - Desktop (OOTB & Customization) - ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, SDE, Server) & ArcGIS Online - Administration & usage - FME (Flow & Form), Python (Plotly, ArcPy, Pandas, Numpy, etc.), ArcGIS API for Python - Web GIS Development (ReactJS , NodeJs), Expereience Builder Widgets - working experience in Azure Education : - Master's degree, GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, Related Field, or related Bachelor's degree with some relevant experience (ref:hirist.tech)
