Hardware Design Engineer - Schematics/PCB

Role : Hardware Design Engineer Senior Role Multiple Locations : Open Job description : Roles And Responsibilities : - Develop and implement hardware components and systems, including schematics and PCB layouts. - Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware designs, resolving any issues that arise. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with software and firmware. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware designs, specifications, and test plans. - Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in hardware design methodologies. - Manage inventory, overseeing procurement and tracking of hardware components. - Engage in discussions and negotiations with manufacturers and distributors. - Facilitate the procurement process for Bill of Materials (BOM) components. - Excellent knowledge of Microcontroller/ Microprocessor based hardware design and associated subsystems such as the power supply, I / O interfaces, and communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C. - PCB Stackup, Vias and Rules Structure Design. - Basic RF Design Concepts and working. - Designing the most Power-efficient systems. - Block level Architecture design. - Managing inventory and good TH and SMD soldering experience. - Component selection and validation. - Extensive verification of designs. - Should know how to use Basic lab equipment. - Good organizational skills. - Should be able to multitask on multiple development projects and work under tight deadlines. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Good team player, with strong problem-solving and creative skills. Preferred Expectations : - Proficiency in Altium Design. - High Speed Design like DDR4, HDMI, MIPI. - Past Wearable design experience. - Simulation Tools Hardware/ Software. - RF Antenna Design with maximum efficiency - Flex PCB and Rigid-Flex PCB Design along with Mechatronic design considerations.
