Hardware Engineer

Hardware Engineer Job Overview We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our Product Development team in Modena. He/She will design HW electronics module in the field of AC/DC power conversion starting from specification and regulation norm analysis and block diagram definition. From the architecture, he/she will define the key components and the electric scheme connection defining the BOM. He/she will check the schematic and BOM consistency. He/she will support the PCB layout with review of the components placement and connection. Main Responsibilities: Debug and FW development in C language Schematic and layout adjustments to cover issues Take part in BOM optimization process reducing BOM lines Approve alternative cheap part numbers Reports To: The Hardware Engineer will join the Product Development team and report directly to the Head of Engineering. Qualifications and Background Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering with high final marks Recent graduate with significant thesis or internship in the field of hardware Good knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters and inverters C, C++ (nice to have) Native level of Italian and good English (B2 or higher) Microcontroller fundamentals Device fundamentals: resistor, capacitor, inductor, transformer, diode, and transistor What we offer Competitive salary Employee fringe benefits Annual bonus Career opportunities Dynamic and talented working environment About Eggtronic Revolutionary power electronics for a better planet.
