Contribute to climate modeling activities, including paleoclimatic studies, subseasonal forecast system development, and km-scale climate simulations. Requirements: Degree in physics, astrophysics, engineering, informatics, PhD in a relevant field, two years of postdoc experience, experience with numerical climate models, climate data analysis skills, experience in diagnostics development and/or in present and past climate variability, coding skills in Fortran, Python, and other languages, version control experience, and experience in HPC environments. The selected candidate will participate in both scientific and technical aspects of the climate modeling group's activities, including climate model development, conducting climate simulations, developing new diagnostics, and analyzing climate run outputs.
