A leading French retail bank is embarking on a large-scale IT and business transformation following a period of rapid growth. We are seeking a highly experienced IT Transformation Director to lead the strategic overhaul of their technology landscape and drive key transformation initiatives.
Role Overview:
As the IT Transformation Director, you will play a pivotal role in executing the bank’s technology roadmap, directly contributing to the modernisation and efficiency of the organisation. You will oversee IT Operations, manage high-profile initiatives, and work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders, including strategic IT partners. Your leadership will be essential in developing and implementing a new operating model that supports the bank's ambitious growth and transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the IT strategy to build and implement systems and processes aligned with business goals.
- Direct the planning, development, and implementation of IT solutions to support business operations, improving cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and strategic IT partners.
- Oversee project delivery within a complex, fast-paced environment, ensuring all initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles within retail or investment banking, with a strong track record of delivering transformation projects.
- Expertise in IT service management, vendor management, and commercial acumen.
- Strong understanding of systems integration, data analytics, and cloud platforms (Azure Cloud, MS Office 365, Power BI).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage high-level stakeholder relationships.
- Fluent in English and French, with experience in cross-cultural environments.
