Senior D365 Project Manager – D365 Public Sector

Location: Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester, London (Hybrid)

Your Role

As a Senior D365 Project Manager in our Public Sector Practice, you'll be at the forefront of our Business Applications pillar, leveraging your deep knowledge and expertise in delivering high-profile public sector and not for profit D365 and power platform projects.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders
  • Supporting customers as they develop their their Agile delivery capability
  • Deliver assigned projects in line with established KPIs
  • Quality of delivery is aligned to customer expectations and satisfying objectives defined at the outset of the project e.g. performance/functionality
  • Understand and articulate the scope of each project to which you are assigned
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of projects;
  • Proactively manage resources to ensure the required skills are aligned to the demands of the project
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress using established tools and processes e.g., DevOps
  • Time estimating – ensure the estimated date of completion is accurate
  • Cost estimating – ensure the estimated cost to complete is accurate
  • Management of project budgets
  • Managing Risks and Issues (RAID logs per project)
  • Monitoring progress and reporting on it via agreed channels and to established timelines
  • Escalating to management where the success of the project is at risk
  • Participate in pre-sales engagements to develop high-quality sales proposals
  • Proactively deliver solutions to problems, as opposed to simply highlighting them.


Qualifications


You will have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, delivering a wide range of services to our customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Seasoned experience in a similar role, working on delivery of D365 Projects preferably within Public Sector environments.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of PMP / PRINCE II - certification desirable
  • Experience delivering projects with Agile Methodologies
  • Desirable skill - SC Clearance
