Physical Metals Associate

I’m working on behalf of an Investment Bank who are seeking a Physical Metals Associate to assist with settlements, handling all the clearing and arranging physical shipments.

Role:

1. Reviews the transactions of associates; ensures completion of daily volumes
2. Researches and resolves discrepancies and issue or escalates to manger, as required.
3. Ensure all invoice are prepared, checked and dispatched to client within the required timeline
4. Ensure the daily metals settlement and customers’ metal transfer request are processed
5. Ensure the financial system and inventory system are updated properly for the trades and transfer requests. And related supporting documents are retained for future reference
6. Review all quality certificate to ensure delivered commodity is within contractual tolerance, ensure all shipping documentation and invoices generate are in order.

Experience

1. 4-6 years of relevant experience for both Precious Metals & Base Metals.
2. Knowledge of LME & LBMA Settlement.
3. Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements.
4. Good communication to effectively build relationship with internal / external stakeholders.
5. secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and
