Regional Account Manager

An exciting opportunity is available to join one of the UK's leading foodservice providers as Regional Account Manager (Sales). You will be part of a wider sales team covering existing accounts across Hampshire and Dorset.

Title:Regional Account Manager (Sales)

Basic Salary:£42,000 (up to £52,000 OTE) plus bonus and benefits

Location: Work from home Field based

As the Regional Account Manager your main responsibilities are:

• Work with existing clients across Hampshire and Dorset creating opportunities to increase and develop profitable business growth (60% account management)
• Identify and develop new business opportunities (40% new business) in order to increase market share and size of the market within the region.
• Manage the relationship with the customer and ensure all queries and issues are dealt with in order to retain the customer's long-term loyalty.

You will currently be working in a sales position in the hospitality industry or would like a new challenge from working in the kitchen or in operations.

Requirements of the Regional Account Manager:

• Driven, positive, self-motivated, ambitious individual
• Strong organisational and account management skills
• Preferred experience in a field sales role
• Experience of food and/or product sales (either foodservice, retail, supply side)
• Excellent understanding of foodservice/hospitality/catering industry, external market and a broad commercial understanding
• Excellent customer knowledge and contacts in order to deliver new opportunities
• Skill and experience at building strong relationships with customers
• Exceptional selling and influencing skills
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Current driving licence and ability to work across the region as required for customer base
