Our world-wide known logistics and supply chain client is looking for an experienced transport planner to join their busy team based in Rugby, CV23.

This a temporaryon going positionwith the potential of turning into permanent role for the right person!

Shift Details
  • Monday-Friday.
  • Rotational shifts (AM and PM, no Nights, non-negotiable).
  • 07:00-15:00 / 14:00-22:00.
  • £13.16 per hour (weekly pay).
  • 40-hour week.
Duties include:
  • Coordinating transport solutions for clients
  • Load schedule planning
  • Forecasting data to manage future transport solutions
  • Engaging with subcontractors and third-party suppliers
  • Providing accurate shipment information
  • Managing return loads
  • Escalation of issues to senior management
  • Creating tax and duty payment information
  • Spot pricing for ad-hoc shipments
  • TRAINING PROVIDED

Experience/Skills Required:
  • Excellent communicationskills (written and verbal)
  • Computer literate
  • Transport/Logistics experience is strongly preferred but will consider other candidates with an exceptional attitude.
  • Planning and workload prioritisation
  • Be a good team player
  • Be able to travel to and from Rugby Gateway, Rugby (CV23)
