Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on various commercial projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Use power tools and hand tools to carry out installations and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion.
• Document all work performed, including any changes made during the installation process.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools specific to electrical work.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
• A valid electrician's qualification or certification is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
