We're looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join a dynamic team in Bromborough, where you'll play a key role in keeping a 24 hour facility running at peak performance. If you thrive on solving complex challenges and want to work in a very secure role, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
Take charge of maintaining and optimising a variety of plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, minimising downtime and keeping production on track.
Lead planned preventative maintenance efforts, proactively addressing potential issues before they become problems.
Collaborate closely with our production team to drive improvements in efficiency and reliability.
Keep detailed maintenance records and contribute to performance reporting, helping to shape the future of our operations.
Champion health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all industry regulations.
Innovate and implement process improvements that boost productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Experience
NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a completed apprenticeship in Plant Maintenance.
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role.
Strong expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a knack for tackling complex challenges.
Familiarity with PLC systems and automated machinery is a significant advantage.
A proactive approach, with the ability to think on your feet and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, covering both days and nights.
