A world-leading medical technology company developing innovative solutions are seeking a motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join the team as part of its global expansion. This is an opportunity to work in an innovative, fast-paced global medical device organisation committed to improving patient outcomes.


The Supplier Quality Engineer will assist oversight of suppliers globally, this role is critical in upholding the company’s values of innovation, evidence, integrity, teamwork, respect, and commitment to transplantation. The role plays a key part in developing and maintaining oversight practices for the Supplier Quality function.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sustaining and enhancing the Global Supplier Quality program
  • Conduct internal investigation through non-conformance and CAPA processes
  • Support the team with supplier evaluation and approvals
  • Concentrate on developing, upholding, and refining supplier performance metrics, policies, and procedures to effectively manage quality relationships with suppliers worldwide
  • Generate and monitor appropriate key performance indicators to assess supplier performance in a timely manner and drive the resolution of corrective actions from the suppliers
  • Build and develop relationships with customers and suppliers to meet the demands of the business
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and principles related to medical devices in line with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP Parts 201 and 211, and EU MDR.
  • Exhibit a strong dedication to quality and customer service, aligned with the specific needs of the customers


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree within an engineering disciple or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within quality at a medical device manufacture
  • Proven experience within Supplier Quality
  • Expert knowledge cGMP, 21 CFR 820, ISO13485, 14971
  • Lead ISO13485 certification is highly desirable
  • AQQ Supplier Quality Engineer Certificate is highly desirable
  • Ability to travel as required
