Financial Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This role is essential to ensuring the financial stability and health of our organization, with a strong emphasis on process optimization and profitability. Based in London with remote flexibility, this role offers the chance to work alongside a forward-thinking, collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full financial reporting cycle, including month-end and year-end close, preparation of financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing analytical insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to mitigate financial risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a similar role.
• Experience with startups or high-growth environments is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and familiarity with UK GAAP.
