Director of Business Development (Epidemiology)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as the Director of Epidemiology. In this leadership position, you will play a crucial role in advancing epidemiological research, health economic evaluations, and real-world evidence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record, leadership experience, and expertise in health economics and epidemiology, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.

Reporting:

• This role reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct meetings with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Pitch projects to pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
• Actively participate in congresses and industry events.
• Collaborate with the sales organization to align strategies.
• Work alongside data and patient teams to design studies and generate evidence.
• Build relationships with potential future team members.
• Explore and establish joint commercial partnerships.
• Grow project revenues, sustain profits, and expand the team.

Requirements:

• PhD in Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in health economics, epidemiology, and related fields.
• Work experience in health economics or real-world evidence for a service provider to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong publication history demonstrating expertise in epidemiology and health economics.
• Experience in hematology is preferred
• Extensive network with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Proven ability to deliver research, publications, and data programs directly.
• Capability to develop and grow a team to meet increasing demand.
