Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client as an DI Field Service Engineer covering Hertfordshire. Successful candidates will need experience of working in UK Hospital environments with relevant equipment/OEM training.
As the DI Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Troubleshoot, analyze and repair system failures to maintain Elapsed Time to Repair (ETTR) and Systems Uptime standards by completing repairs immediately and efficiently.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diagnostic imaging systems.
Support customers and develop good customer contacts and communication.
Prioritise multiple demands as required.
Ensure contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
General duties to ensure operational delivery and patient safety.
Maintain accurate records.
Maintain essential stock.
Attend training courses as required attaining the required grades
Providing telephone assistance and field visits throughout the assigned region.
Completing all administration and documentation after work completed.
Build good working relationships with customers and end users of equipmentBenefits:

Cycle to work schemeThe successful DI Field Service Engineer will have the following related skills / experience:
HNC/D Electronics or equivalent
Formal training technical training with a relevant manufacturer is essential
Experience of working in UK Hospital environments with relevant equipment
Strong communication skills
Experienced in the repair, calibration of ultrasound equipment
Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare environment
Has attended a range of OEM or other appropriate device specific training works and is in procession of relevant certificates
