Payroll Manager | £32,000 - £38,000 | Preston + Hybrid | High-growth business | Fantastic benefits and team culture
Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a high-growth, PE-backed business in their search for a Payroll Manager to oversee and action all aspects of payroll processes within the organisation whilst maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to employees regarding payroll related queries.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
End-to-end management of payroll process, including wage calculation, overtime, and deductions
Ensure payroll processed on time
Ensure the accuracy and security of payroll data and confidential employee information
Prepare and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all tax regs
Coordinate with relevant authorities for tax-related matters and inquiries
Calculate and raise manual payments where necessary
Resolve all payroll-related issues or discrepancies
Required Experience and Skills:
Broad experience working in Payroll
Knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational and time-keeping skills
High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
Good IT and MS Excel skills
