The shift pattern for this position is rotational: Monday Sunday, days, nights, 12hr shifts.

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team in Neurosurgery, Ward 65 within the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The Department of Neurosurgery provides exciting pioneering Neurosurgical procedures and care as part of Regional Services for the West of Scotland. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Nurses to join our team.

We have three, 22 bedded wards which provide emergency and elective Neurosurgical and spinal care as part of the Neuroscience Service to the West of Scotland.

All staff will be supported by our dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator for Neurosciences, and undergo an in-house training competency framework and university accredited courses to support your development.

You will work 12-hour shifts to cover the 24/7 service.

You must be a Registered Nurse. Experience in the field of Neurosurgical nursing is preferred, but not essential.

You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).
