Security Operations Analyst
Nigel Frank are delighted to be working with one of the leading Microsoft Security Specialists in the UK. We are supporting our client with several new additions to their thriving UK team. As a Microsoft Partner they invest heavily in training and provide the time and support for their employees to achieve accreditation's from Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate through to Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert.
If you have a background in security operations, deployment or software development and would like to expand your skills in a Microsoft focused security development role this could be the position for you.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and categorize incoming events, incidents, and requests from customers.
Perform initial triage and initiate escalation or assignment as needed.
Investigate event alerts and coordinate with customers to confirm resolution and closure.
Participate in a 24/7 shift rota, working 8-hour shifts (see attached schedule).Preferred Experience
Prior experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or within a security team.
Hands-on experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Azure Sentinel.
Familiarity with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
Relevant Microsoft certifications.Package
Competitive salary, ranging from £25K to £35K, depending on experience.
33 days of holiday entitlement per year.
