About the Company - We are a boutique M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and Transformation Consultancy founded in 2015. Our team works with broad range of clients in Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Infrastructure sectors. In our Strategic Transformation practice, we work closely with C-suite level clients to conceptualize, design and implement company-wide Transformation programs.
About the Role - We are looking for a Senior Manager to strengthen our strategic capabilities. The preferred candidate will have 8+ years of management consulting experience and strong strategy, analysis, program management and senior stakeholder management skills.
The role is hybrid (3 days/week in our offices in Central London) and may require some travel across Europe.
London based full-time permanent hires only.
Key responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the engagement and day-to-day program management using a broad range of project management techniques, track and share progress, risks, and issues and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
- Manage senior stakeholders, build transformation momentum and develop trusted relationships at all levels. Be responsible for growth and planning of the account.
- Execute and deliver on key industry and market analyses including growth projections and trends, and financial analysis and modelling
- Lead portfolio analysis, market landscaping and segmentation, competitor profiling, strategic capability assessment, commercial analysis
- Lead on 'Where to Play' and 'How to Win' and facilitate alignment workshops with key stakeholders
- Translate data and into insights and meaningful recommendations to inform business decisions and lead launch of transformation initiatives
- Generate simple yet visually appealing collateral necessary for key decision-making activities (e.g. strategy sessions, Board and Senior LT meetings).
- Manage consultants and provide work direction and coaching
Skills, qualifications, experience
- Experience in Strategy and transformation consulting in a management consulting firm for 8+ years
- Bachelor’s degree in a related subject – e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics etc.
- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
- Must have experience in one of the following areas of business transformation: BPO/Shared Services, Organization design, Procurement, Customer Experience, Customer Service, Channel Marketing/eCommerce
- Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly yet critically
- Demonstrated ability to run a Transformation Office for programs and drive progress
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and solid business acumen
- Experienced with executing a broad range of data, analysis and methodologies, including: Market sizing, Competitive analysis, Bench marking, Financial modeling and Valuation, Portfolio review, Customer segmentation
- Able to synthesize large amounts of information from diverse sources to problem solve, identify trends, insights and issues and recommend solutions
- High EQ with strong verbal and written communication skills, including story boarding and developing clear and concise presentations
- Comfortable communicating with, and presenting to clients at C-suite level
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
