IT Project Manager - PMP/Prince2

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the development, implementation, and delivery of IT projects. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met. Key Responsibilities : - Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. - Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and task management. - Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration between development, operations, and support teams. - Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed. - Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, including security, quality, and regulatory requirements. - Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and project health. - Manage project budgets and track expenses, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are a plus.) Experience : 3 years of experience in IT project management or similar roles, preferably in [industry, e.g., "software development" or "cloud infrastructure"]. Skills : - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). - Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. - Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Asana). - Problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address project challenges. Preferred Skills : - Familiarity with cloud technologies, software development lifecycle, and/or DevOps practices. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. - Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
