Data Architect - SQL/Python

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud/Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud/Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust cloud-based data solutions. Key Responsibilities : Cloud Architecture : - Design and implement scalable, high-availability, and secure cloud architectures on multiple cloud platforms, primarily AWS and GCP. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute cloud migration strategies. - Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends. Data Architecture : - Develop and maintain complex data models, data flows, and data pipelines. - Design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle. - Optimize data ingestion, processing, and storage for performance and scalability. Data Engineering : - Hands-on experience with data engineering tools and technologies, including ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data transformation. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Snowflake for data manipulation and analysis. - Implement data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive information. Collaboration : - Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment. - Mentor and guide team members on best practices for cloud and data architecture. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 10-15 years of experience in data architecture and cloud engineering. - Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS and GCP. - Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes. - Expertise in data engineering tools and technologies, including ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data integration. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Snowflake. - Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus. - Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP) and DevOps certifications are preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
