Job Description

Role : IT Infrastructure Support Job description : - As per your job role, you will be mainly responsible for the smooth running of IT hardware and software at the entire site. - Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications - Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks - Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults - Regularly testing and maintaining the IT infrastructure - Giving remote support to users if required - Maintaining zero or negligible downtime for the current multiple sites as well as new upcoming site - Keeping up to date documentation of IT inventory - Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports - Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system - Supporting the roll-out of new and upgraded applications - Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password and domain issues - Responding within agreed time limits to end user calls - Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) - Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time - Connecting with vendors and OEMs for warranty/after sales service and other tech requirements - Understanding SLA and Compliance and adhering to it - Keeping entire site up and running and managing team of tech personnel. - Maximize use of hardware and software by training users; interpreting instructions; answering questions - Prepare reference for users by writing operating instructions and maintaining Dos and DONTs list - Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions - Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with users and colleagues - Testing and evaluating new technology - Conducting electrical and technical safety checks on computer equipment - Providing daily call reports to your reporting manager - Adhering to the company rules and policies - Carrying out any other tech support activity as required by the organization (ref:hirist.tech)
