Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and adaptable Secondary School Teachers of all subjects to join our team to support our partner schools across Pontypridd. Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for flexible work or a new graduate seeking valuable classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of secondary schools in the area.

About the Role:

As a supply teacher with Teaching Personnel, you’ll have the flexibility to cover day-to-day assignments as well as access to long-term placement opportunities across all subjects in the secondary curriculum. We provide comprehensive support to help you succeed in interviews and trial days for longer-term positions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons in your subject area(s) in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards
Adapt to a variety of classroom environments and establish a positive rapport with students
Ensure that all students remain engaged and are able to progress during cover lessons
Maintain a professional approach and positive classroom management, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
Participate in feedback processes to support student achievement and classroom improvement
Who We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teachers (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) in any secondary subject
Excellent communicators who can adapt to new environments and engage students in their learning
Teachers looking for flexibility with their schedule and the chance to explore different schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
