Senior Handbag Designer

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a creative and dynamic senior designer to join our expanding handbag design team. We are a trend driven and fast paced design office, based in Clerkenwell, London. We design and supply to major High Street retailers, working closely with our clients. We produce handbags, make-up bags, men's bags, SLGs and licensed products.

The requirements

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Team player with leadership skills.

Passionate about fashion and design.

Creative flair and ability to spot emerging trends.

Commercial awareness.

Excellent drawing skills.

Fully competent in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop.

Ability to do full specs.

Thrive under pressure.

Enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated.

The position

To create commercial designs based on the latest trends which fulfil the clients' requirements.

To research and create trend presentations, focussing on key looks.

To translate CADs into specs which create great samples.

To forge relationships with customers and attend regular meetings.

To work to a critical path, often under pressure, to meet deadlines.

To travel for meetings, research and development trips.

Salary dependant on experience.

This is a full-time position.
