Wonderful opportunity for an Experience OFFICE PROJECT MANAGER with experience in office relocations, to work on this 12 month office-move project. The role is fast paced and very varied as you will support moving in excess of 100 people to the new glamourous office in central London. Previous relevant experience in moving offices is essential. Please note that this is an immediate-start role, so you need to be free asap

TITLE: Office Relocation Project Manager

Essential experience: Large office relocation experience is essential

Language: Any

Contract duration: 12 months (May extend)

Start: ASAP ( immediate starters only will be considered)

Pay rate: £18 to £20 per hour + Holiday pay (Equivalent to £35,000 to £40,000 per annum)

Location: On-site in Central London

International tech and travel business that needs help in the office relocation project for its large staff.

The role

Busy and varied office relocation project that is due in the first half of 2025. You will be supporting the move of over 100 staff to lovely new office in central London and so you must have previous experience and be able to make an immediate impact

In addition to physically helping with this move, there may be some elements of research for new vendors, managing disposals, creating inventory lists as well as coordinating the cancellation of existing contracts. There will also be an element of decommissioning the current office too.

The role will also cover general office management and office reception duties.

There will be a month-long handover with the existing office manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting a large office relocation project starting in 2025
  • Ordering office supplies for the officeHelping with receiving guests and visitors
  • Dealing with office equipment, and service vendors Handling interactions with new vendors (especially related to office moves)

Coordinating the dismissal of existing supplier and vendor contractsRequirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in office management experience gained in a large organisation
  • Solid experience of organising office moves of more than 100 staff (This is essential and non-negotiable).Office administration skills, handling phone, reception, visitors, and guests in a professional mannerExperience in dealing with service vendors, and handling onboarding new vendors, negotiating and agreementsImpeccable communication skills in English (Written and Spoken)

Experience with Google Workspace (Highly desirable)
