Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Executive with a primary focus on student conversion. This role is critical in building and maintaining direct relationships with prospective students, guiding them through the decision-making process and ultimately increasing conversion rates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in student recruitment or sales, excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students achieve their academic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement and Conversion:
Proactively reach out to prospective students to understand their needs, answer questions and provide tailored advice.
Maintain consistent communication with students to keep them engaged and guide them through each step of the application process.
Serve as the primary point of contact, building rapport and addressing any concerns students may have to increase conversion rates.
- Follow-up and Pipeline Management:
Manage a pipeline of prospective students, tracking their progress, following up at critical decision points and ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Leverage CRM tools to organize and prioritize student leads, ensuring a seamless communication flow.
- Advisory and Consultative Approach:
Offer personalized guidance on program selection based on the student’s academic background and career goals.
Provide expert advice on application requirements, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities to ensure students have all the information they need to proceed.
- Collaboration with Marketing and Admissions:
Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns that attract new leads and drive inquiries.
Collaborate with admissions to facilitate a smooth application process for students, addressing any bottlenecks that may delay their progress.
- Data-Driven Strategy:
Analyse and report on student conversion metrics to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.
Utilize insights from student interactions to refine communication strategies and enhance the student journey.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in student recruitment, sales or customer service in the education sector.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive approach and ability to build strong student relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time-management and organizational skills, with experience managing a pipeline of leads.
- Results-Oriented: Target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding conversion targets.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with international study destinations (especially the UK) and understanding of student visa and application processes.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems, data tracking and Microsoft Office Suite.
