Vacancy: Junior Business Compliance Executive

Location: UK – On the road/ home based. Head office attendance a couple of days per month.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

About the Role:

To conduct Operational Excellence Assessments (Internal audits) to all key areas of the business, predominantly the 100+ manufacturing stores based on client sites across the UK & Europe, to support the Business Compliance Manager in external audits for ISO 9001 & 14001, To support the Business Compliance Manager with Risk assessments, Accident investigations, & Target Zero Campaigns

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake Operational Excellence (OpEx) assessment(s) and to produce a report of activities, findings and recommendations for improvement
• To ensure all stores and functions achieve Gold or Platinum status for their OpEx.
• Delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) for OpEx completion/schedule, OpEx reporting, & OpEx distribution
• Achieve agreed timeframes for risk assessment and method statement completion.
• Achieve SLAs for distribution and reporting of Safety, Health and Environmental Training
• Support with the maintenance of ISO standards and supporting documentation.
• Mentoring and developing stores envoys and office functions to deliver Gold or Platinum status for their Operational Excellence Assessments.
• Promotion of Health & Safety in the workplace at all times and encourage best practice.
• To support with analysing trends in Operational Excellence performance
• To support Business Compliance Manager with management of health and safety training via learning platform

Key Skills:

1. Auditing
2. Stores management knowledge would be advantageous.
3. Good Communication skills
4. Environment, Health & Safety background
