Kitchen Manager - Busy Country Inn - Great Opportunity

A great opportunity has arisen at this fantastic Country Inn near Cirencester for an experienced and organised Kitchen Manager. The role would be suitable for a Chef and Manager who can lead and run a kitchen team serving a modern seasonal menu. You will lead and drive the team to prepare and plate dishes as per specifications, coach and develop junior chefs and ensure quality and consistency of meals. You will also need to achieve GP margins and work with suppliers. The produce is all fresh and meals will be prepared for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner service along with events and celebrations.

The Role

  • Reporting to the General Manager you will be assisted by junior chefs
  • Working in the kitchen using fresh and seasonal ingredients as per company specifications
  • Kitchen Management duties and achieve GP targets
  • Coach & Develop junior chefs

The Person

  • You will already be a Head Chef or Sous on promotion looking for a new challenge.
  • Able to work unsupervised and develop junior team members
  • Have experience of working in a busy fresh, food kitchen using spec and prep sheets
  • Outgoing personality with good communication skills to speak to guests and colleagues
