Job Description
Build Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to intially work in Birmingham and then Coventry.
This is a fantastic opportunity with a day rate of £288 per shift through the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS). The initial work will be based in Dudley, focusing on some Social Housing Development Fund (SHDF) schemes. The successful candidate will then move to Coventry, working on planned works schemes for kitchen and bathroom projects. This is a temporary role, with an expected end date of April 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage subcontractors, including overseeing their Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS), following processes, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, and monitoring their progress against the project's schedule.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain the quality of work and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
A minimum of five years of experience in Planned Social Housing maintenance.
Hold a valid Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.
Hold a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Gold Supervisor card.
Hold a valid First Aid certificate.
On Offer:
Competitive day rate of £288 per shift.
Mileage reimbursement from site to site.
