Here is a super opportunity available for someone to join this dynamic food business as you start your food career and learn from a talented ex-chef and now retail expert in food innovation. Working in their new state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, you will lead the food development agenda by using your culinary expertise to produce category-leading food products and show creativity in innovation.

Working in a small yet dynamic UK team, you will need to be comfortable with working on your own initiative creating and managing samples in preparation for customer presentations. This role will offer the freedom for you to be creative with new concepts and innovative ideas along with the opportunity to travel to the European Head Office and supplier sites.

You:

• A recent culinary or food-related degree, ideally with 6-12mths or Placement Year experience.
• Well-informed with the latest food trends and innovations
• Understands flavour and texture and how to enhance these to create the very best result possible
• High-level food presentation skills and confidence when presenting face-to-face.
• Have a methodical mind and can document each step in a process and repeat it until the best outcome is produced
• Must be dynamic and possess solid project management skills
• Be able to demonstrate your creative thinking around food innovation
• Must be comfortable with working in Hertfordshire 5 days p/wk with some European travel
