Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java. - Integrate API automation using Rest-Assured into the automation framework. - Implement BDD frameworks (Cucumber/JBehave/Maven) for behavior-driven development. - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Analyze test results and identify defects. - Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality. - Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies. - Estimate testing efforts and resource allocation. - Prioritize test cases and optimize testing cycles. - Mentor and guide junior team members. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. - Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends. - Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Required Skills and Experience : - 7 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and Java. - Strong understanding of e-commerce, retail, or supply chain domain. - Proficiency in Java programming language. - Hands-on experience with API automation using Rest-Assured. - Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/JBehave/Maven). - Strong SQL skills for database testing. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins. - Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Experience in leading and mentoring teams (ref:hirist.tech)
