Health & Safety Officer needed

A position has arisen for a temporary Health & Safety Officer placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Buckinghamshire for around 6 months. This role takes responsibility for assisting the Head of Health and Safety with all the the day to day duties.

Your duties will include:

• Responsible for ensuring the organisation meets all the required health & safety management arrangements
• Ensuring that all incidents related to health and safety are investigated and managed effectively
• Lead on the advice and support for managers to comply with their health and safety legal responsibilities
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Updating and reviewing policies and procedures
• Leading on the design and delivery of all relevant health and safety training as applicable

The successful candidate should have:

• You must have experience working in a public sector organisation
• You will have knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and be NEBOSH or IOSH Qualified
