Financial Controller

Role description:

To be the controller of all operational financial activities within the business. Working with a fractional CFO and a part time bookkeeper the role is a perfect opportunity to fully own all of the operational financial activities of the business with a small but growing team working side by side with the Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Own the month end close process
• Financial analysis of all business activities
• Oversea the controlling framework within the company, ensuring sales/purchases/VAT/payroll all completed correctly and on time
• Management of the bookkeeper
• Budget assistance and analysis
• Business partnering the wider commercial team
• Working closely with the CEO to build a robust financial framework to support our growth ambitions

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE
• High level of analytical skills
• Experience of working in an entrepreneurial fast moving environment
• A can do attitude and willingness to get involved in all areas of the business
