Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of fire and security systems. This role is crucial to ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises across London and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation:
* Carry out the installation of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and other security systems.
* Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard, in line with industry regulations and client specifications.
* Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of systems.
*
Maintenance and Servicing:
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems, ensuring they remain fully operational and compliant with relevant standards.
* Diagnose and repair faults in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
* Conduct regular system checks, tests, and inspections, and provide detailed reports on system performance and any required actions.

Callout Duties:
* Participate in the callout rota, currently 1 in 5 weeks, with an expected expansion to 1 in 6 with this position.
* Respond to emergency callouts promptly, providing expert troubleshooting and repair services to resolve issues quickly.
* Ensure all callouts are logged and reported accurately, maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the process.

Customer Service:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and technical support.
* Advise clients on system upgrades, improvements, and compliance requirements, ensuring they are fully informed and satisfied with the service provided.
* Manage client expectations and deliver on commitments, maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all times.
Requirements:

Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems.
* Comprehensive knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and related systems.
* Proven track record of working in both residential and commercial environments.

Skills:
* Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Other Requirements:
* Full UK driving license.
* Willingness to participate in the callout rota and be flexible with working hours as needed.
* Must be based within a commutable distance to the London area
