Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Location: Princes Risborough
Daily Rate: Up to £221 per day
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Are you a safeguarding professional ready to make a real impact? We are recruiting a Temporary Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to work with one of our partner SEND schools in Princes Risborough. This role is essential in supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage safeguarding efforts within the school to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students.
* Collaborate with school staff to provide guidance and support on safeguarding matters.
* Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to support each student’s welfare.
* Promote a positive and inclusive environment for students.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in safeguarding, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
* Strong understanding of SEMH and related learning needs.
* Commitment to supporting vulnerable students in a safe, inclusive environment.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
