Site Maintenance Technician
We are working with an established engineering company in North Rural Leominster seeking a Site Maintenance Technician. This full-time, permanent role requires a skilled and versatile person to support various site maintenance activities, to ensure safety standards, and assist with operational projects. The successful candidate will work closely with a small friendly team of engineers and operations staff to maintain the site’s high standards and contribute to ongoing growth.
What you can expect:
* Starting salary; Circa £27’000 per annum
* Working hours; Days/ 40 hours per week Monday – Friday
* Site based in north Leominster with parking
What you will be doing:
* Carry out routine repairs and maintenance tasks both inside and outside, ensuring the facility remains in good condition
* Perform a variety of hands-on tasks across the site both internally and externally, across the workshop, warehouse and farm
* Maintain and service site facilities and common areas, including managing the upkeep of external areas
* Telehandler operation to assist with the movement of materials, supplies, and equipment as required across the site
* Conduct routine visual safety inspections and document findings to comply with all health and safety regulations
* Perform risk assessments and regular tool checks to support a safe working environment and assist with site safety drills and EOP procedures
What we are looking for:
* Demonstrable hands-on practical experience across general maintenance including carpentry, plumbing and general hand tools
* Experience using a telehandler or similar would be highly beneficial
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe site
* Basic Computer literacy for record keeping and inspection reports
* Strong communication skills, able to work effectively within a small team and liaise with various departments
* Own transport will be essential due to the location
