LTIMindtree - Director - Testing

We are seeking a Test Leader with extensive experience in product testing, specifically in the domains of data, ETL, AI, and ML. The ideal candidate will have around 15 years of experience leading testing efforts for complex data-driven products and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our Data-to-Decision tool. Key Responsibilities : Lead Testing for Data-to-Decision Tool : - Understand and map the end-to-end use cases for data-to-decision workflows. - Develop comprehensive test strategies covering ETL processes, machine learning models, and artificial intelligence algorithms. - Work closely with product managers and solution architects to ensure test scenarios align with real-world data processing and decision-making requirements. End-to-End Testing Expertise : - Design and execute test cases for all product layers, including data pipelines (ETL), ML/AI algorithms, and decision intelligence features. - Validate large-scale data transformations and ensure data integrity, consistency, and correctness across the pipeline. - Perform functional and non-functional testing, including performance, scalability, and reliability testing of AI models and ML workflows. Domain Knowledge : - Demonstrate a deep understanding of various industry domains including Retail, Manufacturing, BFSI, and other verticals. - Collaborate with industry experts to ensure test cases and use case scenarios reflect the specific needs of each domain. Team Leadership : - Lead and mentor a team of over 15 testers, ensuring high standards in test execution, automation, and quality assurance. - Foster a collaborative and agile working environment while ensuring the team meets deadlines and quality benchmarks. Competitor Analysis & Product Benchmarking : - Stay updated with competitor tools in the data-to-decision space (such as Snowflake, AWS SageMaker, Databricks, PowerBI etc.). - Lead benchmarking initiatives to compare features, performance, and scalability of our product against competitor products. - Use insights gained from competitor analysis to enhance the testing strategy and provide recommendations for product improvement. Cross-functional Collaboration : - Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Leadership teams to define the scope and areas of improvement in the testing framework. - Provide detailed functional and technical feedback, identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancing the quality of ETL, AI, and ML features. Continuous Improvement : - Implement best practices in test automation across data, AI, and ML domains. - Continuously improve functional testing methodologies and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. - Drive innovation in testing by implementing AI/ML-based testing tools and techniques. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputed institution. - Advanced certifications in product testing, AI/ML testing, and data engineering are a plus. - Have built customer centric end to end business test cases for a data to decision product. - Extensive knowledge of ETL processes, AI/ML systems, Semantic layers and decision intelligence frameworks. Preferred to have startup experience or exposure. - In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP with experience in testing cloud-native applications. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices in testing, with a focus on continuous integration and delivery. - Prior experience in testing large-scale, distributed data systems, and ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations. - Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
