Job Description
Do you currently work within the Door Industry and have a passion for Field Service Engineering? A leading supplier of roller shutters, sectionals, speed doors and loading bays has a newly created Door Engineer opportunity for someone with a background within their industry. You will be covering the Milton Keynes, Luton and Home Counties area. The company offer a full training and development program, where you will be buddied up with another member of the team and learn how things are done. On offer is an impressive base salary of £35,000+ (£52K OTE) in your first year, a modern fully racked company van, PDA & mobile phone is on offer with premium overtime paid and a £200 callout fee. You'll get full D2D payment, Company Pension Scheme, and additional holidays.
Responsibilities of an Industrial Door Engineer
You'll be reporting to the Director and be expected to be in control of the Installation, maintenance, service, and repairs of roller shutters, sectional, speed, loading bays and fast action doors on various customer sites. You will be expected to manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's fantastic reputation and future growth.
Requirements of a successful Industrial Door Engineer
IPAF, PASMA, CSCS or NVQ
Previous practical experience working on shutters, sectionals, or loading bays
Excellent customer service skills
Electrical, welding or hydraulics experienceSalary and Benefits for an Industrial Door Engineer:
Attractive starting salary package OT circa £50k+ in your first year
Overtime rate is paid at double time after your 40th hour. Regardless of the day worked.
£200 callout fee with premium overtime rate of x1.5
Paid from when you leave home to when you return home
Company van and fuel card
Company pension scheme
Buddy support system in place during training period

PPE and Uniform supplied
