Job Description
All Square Recruitment are recruiting an Assembly Operator for a full time, temporary to permanent opportunity in Chelmsford, Essex.
The Assembly Operator will play a key role in assembling critical components used across industries like aerospace, defence, and telecommunications.
Assembly Operator – Responsibilities
* Assemble components including D-Sub connectors, fiber optics, RF connectors, and cable assemblies with high accuracy, following detailed technical drawings and specifications.
* Conduct thorough quality checks on each sub-assembly to ensure all components meet company standards for performance and durability.
* Safely operate hand tools and machinery required for sub-assembly, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain detailed records of production processes, ensuring all assemblies are fully traceable.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Experience required
* Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly, particularly with connectors, fiber optics, or RF components, is highly desirable; however, full training will be provided.
* Skilled in using assembly tools and handling small components, with an ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Able to work well within a team, communicate effectively, and follow detailed instructions.
* Comfortable with manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and working with small components.
