Job Description

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - M&E and Renewables to join our projects divisions team, based in Knowsley, working on contracts in the North West. You will be working on a full-time permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary Plus Company Vehicle/Car Allowance Plus Excellent Benefits!

Responsibilities for this Project Manager - M&E and Renewables role will include:

Take the lead, working with Contract Managers/ Directors and other team members on all aspects of delivery, including implementation and completion/ signoff of all operational projects

Managing M&E supervisors and operatives/ sub-contractor labour on projects

Involving all Health & Safety elements including site set up and support

Estimating ensuring accurate input of construction plans and master programmes

Aligning labour resource and materials to the planned immediate needs of projects

Assisting the Leadership and Regional Operational Teams in managing site staff and being a key point of contact with regional teams, clients and finance for budgets within projects

Compliance of projects from estimating to delivery

Ensuring correct procedures, processes and systems are in place

Consistent delivery of efficient and cost-effective customer focused works

Ensure a robust and efficient financial control of the project

Develop and update contract/ project programmes, providing regular updates on progress

Develop, monitor and update the construction phase plan and requirements

Assist and support assessment of suitable development opportunities and new business opportunities

Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders

What we are looking for in our ideal Project Manager - M&E and Renewables:

Relevant HNC/ HND Degree (or equivalent proven experience)

Appropriate building/ technical qualification/ GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English

Valid Site based qualification (SMSTS or equivalent)

Recognised first aid qualification

Proven experience of commercial heating systems and installations

Experience on installing commercial and domestic renewable installations

Fire Marshall

Experience in project delivery, including measure and specifications of works and post inspections

Experience of using IT systems, including Microsoft office software (Outlook/ Word and Excel)

Experience of working within a social housing environment
