ARE YOU A DEDICATED PE TEACHER WITH A KEEN PASSION FOR PROMOTING EXERCISE AND HEALTHY LIVING?
Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate PE teacher to work in one of our brilliant partner schools within the Coventry area. The OFSTED rated "Good with oustanding elements" school requires a professional and dedicated PE teacher on a full time basis. You will be fully supported by your personal recruitment consultant at Teaching Personnel as well as the amazing staff at the school!
Hours: Full time
Pay: To scale
Location: Coventry
Ideal Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching PE within a school/educational environment
- Passionate for sport and education
- Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Plan engaging PE lessons that appeal to all abilities and year groups
- Deliver various PE lessons that cover a range of sports activities that encourage active participation amongst all pupils
- Regularly and efficiently track pupil progress
-Provide feedback to pupils regarding their progress through effective communication
- Collaborate with the other teachers and colleagues within the PE department
- Communicate effectively with the other staff, students and parents within the wider school community, actively promoting safeguarding principles
- Encourage participation from pupils in extra curricular activities, ensuring you support with the delivery of these

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
