Job Description
BDS are currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to work in a patch over the West London area.
You will be the principle housing contact for your supported housing residents, whose needs will range from experiences of homelessness or domestic violence. You will deliver housing management services specialized to the client group, considering at all times their needs and vulnerabilities and putting them at the heart of our service.
Main duties will include but are not limited too;
* Responsible for new tenancy sign ups in accordance with their Allocations and lettings policy and procedure.
* Supporting customers with changes to their tenancy (incl. tenancy successions, transfers, mutual exchange and assignment).
* Undertake regular welfare checks, risk assessments and wellbeing plans (in accordance with local procedure) to ensure that customers are safe and well.
* To empathetically respond to tenancy breaches including anti-social behavior (ASB) reports, utilizing a range of tools and working with relevant partners to minimize the impacts of ASB.
* Undertake annual tenancy checks
* Be part of the rough sleepers initiative
You will need to be a driver with access to a vehicle.
Monday to Friday 2 Days a week in the Office and 3 Days a week out covering your Patch.
This is a Temporary ongoing opportunity.
Rate Of Pay- £16.04 Per Hour PAYE, £21.08 Per Hour Umbrella
An enhanced DBS would be required for this role.
