We are looking for an experiencedMechanical Pump Engineer to join our esteemed, market leading client, specialising in pumping equipment solutions, boasting over sixty years of industry expertise around the Bristol area!

In this role, you'll partner with a skilled Electrical Engineer and work as a duo to swiftly address breakdowns and deliver top-notch mechanical servicing, installation, and commissioning of diverse pumping equipment.

This role is suitable for someone mechanically bias with a background in pumping equipment, valves, pipework, drainage, utilities, water treatment etc.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

  • Mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning on a variety of pumping equipment including Pumps, Vales, Pipework, Pumping Stations, Pump Kiosks etc
  • Maintenance and monitoring of equipment
  • Optimise equipment through troubleshooting and repairs
  • Respond to service requests and breakdowns
  • Flexibility for overnight stays as needed
  • Log work progress in detailed site reports
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive company representative
  • Drive the company van and maintain with necessary tools and supplies needed

Hours

Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)

Pay

£32,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Overtime paid at time 1/3 & time 1/2

Skills/Experience Required

Essential

  • Previous experience with pumping equipment such as Pumps, Valves, Pipework or similar
  • Mechanical engineering qualifications
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Flexible to stay away from home if required

Preferred

  • A background in Utility Maintenance, Water Treatment, Drainage etc
  • CSCS, First Aid or Confined space training
