Test Architect - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain a comprehensive test strategy aligned with business objectives and project requirements. - Define test methodologies, processes, and standards. - Identify and assess testing risks. - Establish test metrics and KPIs to measure test effectiveness. - Create detailed test plans, including test cases, test data, and test environments. - Oversee the design and development of test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java. - Manage and coordinate test execution across multiple teams. - Monitor test progress and identify potential issues. - Analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement. - Generate comprehensive test reports, including metrics and insights. - Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve product quality. - Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and analysts. - Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Drive the adoption of best practices in software testing, including test automation, performance testing, and security testing. - Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies. - Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and technologies. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and business analysts. - Manage expectations and resolve conflicts. - Present test results and insights to senior management. Required Skills and Experience : - 11 years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc. - Expertise in test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java. - Proficiency in programming languages (Java, JavaScript). - Experience with API testing using tools like Rest Assured or Postman. - Knowledge of database testing and SQL. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lead and mentor teams. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps). - Knowledge of version control systems (Git). - Experience with test management tools (Jira). Preferred Skills : - Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). - Knowledge of security testing and penetration testing. - Experience with AI/ML-based testing tools. - Certifications in testing (ISTQB) (ref:hirist.tech)
