The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both project management and technical skills, specifically in Java, Spring Boot, and mobile application development. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities : Technical Skills : - Java & Server-Side Programming : Demonstrate very good hands-on expertise in Java 8 and server-side programming. - Spring MVC Framework : Utilize hands-on experience with Spring MVC for developing APIs and RESTful services. - JavaScript Frameworks : Work with JavaScript frameworks, particularly jQuery, to enhance front-end functionalities. - Database Management : Manage and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance. - Troubleshooting : Provide exceptional troubleshooting skills to resolve reported issues efficiently. - Mobile App Development : Have knowledge of native mobile app development and hosting processes. - Cloud Application Hosting : Familiarity with cloud application hosting, specifically AWS. Project Management Skills : - Project Planning : Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; create detailed work plans, allocate resources, and set timelines. - Team Management : Assemble and lead project teams, assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide necessary tools and training. - Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including contingency plans. - Budget Management : Develop and manage the project budget; track expenses and make necessary adjustments. - Quality Assurance : Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards through regular quality checks and necessary changes. - Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, report on project progress, address concerns, and keep all parties informed. - Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports. - Change Management : Assess impacts of changes in project scope, schedule, and costs; recommend adjustments as needed. - Technology Expertise : Have a solid understanding of web and mobility technologies; comprehend technical challenges and solutions. - Project Closure : Ensure all project objectives are met and oversee the final reports and evaluations during project closure. - Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and vendors. - Methodology Adaptation : Adapt project management approach according to the organization's methodology (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall). Qualifications : - Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certifications are required. - Experience : 9-18 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT/software development projects. - Technical Proficiency : Strong technical background in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks, and mobile app development. - Skills : Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
