Salary: £180-£200 per day

Job Description:
TeacherActive are looking for a motivated and inspiring Primary Class Teacher to join a brilliant Primary school based in Camberwell, South East London. Candidates with knowledge and experience in KS1 or KS2 are welcome to apply as this role will be to cover classes across the whole school. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across all year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students and promote their learning and development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and supports the social, emotional and academic development of each student.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents and other stakeholders.
• Engage in professional development activities to improve teaching practice and stay up-to-date with developments in education.
• Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or 2 students.
• Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.
• Ability to use a range of assessment methods to monitor and evaluate student progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
