Job Title: Class 1 Night Drivers

Location: Skelmersdale

We are currently seeking Class 1 Drivers to join our team for Trunking for Royal Mail out of Skelmersdale. We are looking for Days, Afternoon and Night Drivers. Starting 11th November for 6 weeks up to Christmas guaranteed. 5 shifts per week guaranteed. Ongoing work available after Christmas.

This is desirable work with straight trunking and no handball. Average 10 hour shifts. 6 weeks work guaranteed on various shift patterns.

Pay rates (Including Holiday pay)

Days £180 per shift

Nights £188 per shift

Saturday £210 per shift

Sunday £220 per shift.

Standby shift (4 hours) £110.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for distance driving.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations (EU/WTD)
Conduct pre-vehicle inspections.
Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicles.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 driving license and CPC.
Over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
No DR, IN10, or TT99 convictions.
Shift start between 00:00 and 23:59
