Position Overview : As a QA Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of IntelliVision's AI-based video analytics products. This role involves working closely with development, product, and support teams to create and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and troubleshoot issues. A deep understanding of video analytics, machine learning applications, and experience with QA methodologies is crucial. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality across IntelliVision's product lines, including face recognition, license plate recognition, vehicle detection, and parking management. - Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and develop QA strategies to address product needs. - Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to verify product functionality and ensure stability and performance. - Design, develop, and implement automation scripts to optimize testing and enhance test coverage wherever required. - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution. - Conduct end-to-end testing, including compatibility and scalability tests, to evaluate product readiness for deployment. - Validate and troubleshoot customer-reported issues, working with support teams to provide insights and resolutions and visit customer site if required. - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, frameworks, and best practices. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 1- 2 years of experience in QA or software testing, preferably in video analytics, machine learning, or related AI-based applications. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in API testing using Postman, JMeter etc. - Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Appium) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java). - Familiarity with IntelliVision's product domains, including video analytics, license plate recognition (LPR), and intelligent surveillance. - Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Testlink, or similar. - Knowledge of testing in Linux environments, multithreading, and socket programming is a plus. Preferred Skills : - Hands-on experience with video analytics, AI/ML testing, or computer vision-based applications. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience in DevOps practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
