Informatica Architect - ETL Tools

Experience: 10 years of IT experience with more than 6 years in Informatica and 3 years as an ETL/Data Architect Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ETL Informatica Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC DI, strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases, and an understanding of Azure Data Lake. This role requires a deep understanding of ETL/ELT principles, data governance, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions to deliver robust and scalable data integration frameworks. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT processes using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC DI to support business needs. - Lead data integration projects, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. - Create detailed source-target mapping documents and oversee data transformation processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction and transformation. - Provide expertise in data modeling, ensuring data warehouse design supports analytical needs. - Implement and manage Azure Data Lake solutions, integrating them into the overall data architecture. - Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, and best practices for ETL processes. - Mentor team members on Informatica tools and ETL development processes. - Monitor ETL workflows and ensure system performance meets SLA requirements. Must-Have Skill Set : - Excellent understanding of ETL/ELT principles and tools/technologies. - Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC DI. - Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL. - Basic understanding of Azure Data Lake and cloud-based data storage solutions. - Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing. - Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles, with a track record of creating detailed documentation. Preferred Qualifications : - Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Certifications in Informatica, Azure, or data-related technologies are a plus. - Experience with other ETL tools and cloud platforms. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively (ref:hirist.tech)
