Job Description
Assistant Finance Manager – Southeast Asia (Retail)Hudson is partnering with a global premium lifestyle brand to find an Assistant Finance Manager for their Southeast Asia operations. In this role, you will support the company’s growth by managing financial planning, reporting, and compliance, while collaborating with regional and global teams to drive business performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a leading brand’s expansion in the SEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive business growth in the SEA region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, including tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering development and high performance.
- Support HQ on financial reporting, ad-hoc projects, and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of finance principles and international accounting standards.
- Experience in a global organization, with exposure to retail industries like fashion or cosmetics preferred.
- Experience with headcount management is a plus
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
